Victor started working at PEER Bearing in 1997 and was the CAD Engineering Manager until his retirement in June of 2025. Although retirement life was nice, Victor decided to come back to the Spungen family to be 4GEN Bearing’s Mechanical/CAD Engineer. On weekends, Victor manages Alex’s Washington Gardens restaurant in Highwood.
Victor was born in Mexico City and moved to the United States in 1985. He earned his mechanical engineering degree at the University of Illinois Chicago and upon graduation immediately started working at PEER Bearing. He has been married for 33 years to Jaye (who just retired as a kindergarten teacher in Highland Park) and has four children (three daughters and one son).
Victor enjoys watching football and is huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is not an Aaron Rodgers advocate, but he does win football games! Victor also spends time fixing cars and doing projects around the house.
